Hospital practitioner and former head of the “Resuscitation, Emergency EMS, Hyperbarics” department, Pr. Auffray has been teaching at Aix Marseille University. Former vice-president of the French Society of Disaster Medicine, he is now president of the French Society of Maritime Medicine and an anesthesiologist at the Timone’s hospital (Marseille).
