Dr. Poirel is the Departmental Fire and Rescue Service SDIS 13 chief physician. He is also a physician at the Marignane civil security base (Dragon 13) and a reserve physician for the Paris fire department. He graduated in emergency medicine, disaster medicine, maritime emergency medicine and hyperbaric medicine, and has a degree in aeronautical medicine.
